Natali, I agree with you about animals having feelings and needing all the care in the world. I can't stand people get a cute dog or a kitten for the novelty of it. They can't understand that when the poor animal grows up, the dog or cat needs love and attention. This why I adopted Nikki. She was what I would call a "throw- away" pet. When she got older, her usefullness as a kitten wore off and she was given up. I have a weak spot for older animals that need homes. (Now she's the QUEEN of the house!)
