I always brush my dogs' teeth even if they do get bones to chew on I use a regular human tooth brush, except it's one made for young kids so the brush on the end is a little softer and smaller than an adult brush. I also use a dental pick to get rid of all the plaque, not alot of people do that though so you don't have to but I find it helps quite a bit....
