Exactly what is a Degu?
They look like little, skinny, brown chinchillas.
Actually, they look more like Rat/Chin mix's I think. They are too small for a chin and a guinie pig mix. You can hold them in one hand.

They look more like the legs and hands, and body of a chinchilla, with a chipmuck tail, and a rat/squirrel/chinchilla head!! Here is a pic of one:
