Thanks everyone! Yes, he is losing that baby look, and really developing the toddler look. He has gone from roly-poly to string bean central! He is such a slimmy now.

He hasn't mastered the fine art of walking yet, but, does 'cruise' which means he goes from couch to table, to anything that he can hold on to, while on his feet. It is a precursor to walking. He can crawl really fast and furious, and sometimes crawls on two hands, one knee and one foot. Kind of scooches along for quicker times.

He doesn't say any word that I can distinquish, but, does babble alot. He did crawl up 3 steps last night, which was a first. And, he does stand on his own for a few seconds. That brings him great joy, as he starts to clap and giggle, which sends him right down on his bum.

He still hasn't gotten that stranger anxiety thing, really, and goes to just about everyone. He does look at me to make sure it is 'ok'.

He has gone in the big pool once, just last weekend. He was fine, once the coolness was overcome. At some point I will put him in swim lessons, probably not until he is 4 or so. There have been studies done that suggest the early pool stuff- 6 months, 18 months, etc., doesn't do anything to help a child learn, since they don't really have the physical ability to learn to swim. Mom and dad both have pools, so, I hope to always have him comfortable with water.

Thanks for looking at my cutie pie!
