awwwww!!! Starr is such a beautiful and happy looking kitten Those are some good pictures, too. I know what you mean about being difficult to catch a kitten holding still (unless sleeping) but you took some very good pictures of Starr in action! I am so glad he is finally home with you and know that Coccidia will clear up eventually.

Lizzie & Robbie picked up an assortment nasties from their mamma. The organisms kept multiplying as one was killed off with many different antibiotics while yet another bug would take over and so they fought the diarrhea for - probably about for months or more. (it also was begun as coccidia treated with Albon) The older cats would catch it but were able to get better within a day or two on their own. My vet had only one more drug to try - Flagyl that the pharmacy would have to formulate - but everyone got bigger and beat the nasties when their immune systems were more mature and we did not have to try that last drug. So, there are times when the bugs just don't die off but it will resolve on its own eventually. The older ones are able to fight it off without medicine. Just thought this might be helpful if you have a stubborn case with Starr.
