I'm usually a dog and cat rescuer, but if there is an animal that needs help domestic or wild, I'm gonna help if I can. Well, yesterday was the first time I've ever rescued a bunny. My mom (partner in crime) and I were on our way to the wildlife rehab with an injured dove we had just picked up out of the road. On our way we pass by a bunny sitting outside of a fence on a busy road. So here I am chasing this floppy eared bunny around the road trying to throw a jacket over it and keep from getting hit by cars. Then under the car it goes. By now, cars are stopping and one guy actually helps us catch the bunny. When I look up, there is now a line of 20 cars waiting for us and I'm sure laughing (I know I would be). The bunny is now safe at my house waiting for a new place to go. (unfortunately the dove died en route to the rehab)

Anyone want a bunny?
