Hello
Thanks for asking Debbie. We still haven't trapped Punkin, but we haven't resorted to the tougher measures. He has come around to the point of gaining some trust and we just hate to lose that right now. We haven't given up, but just waiting for the right time. What we're hoping for is he'll go instead the outdoor cat pen and we can sneak up and close the door!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
