I agree with Blackfly, cuz I have a pair of zebra finches. They are very nice to look at but you cant take them out of the cage. The males are not that noisy but at times they can be a little noisy, but its not loud. I even had 6 zebra finches at one point. If you are getting zebra finches i would suggest getting 2 females cuz they dont make much noise. If u get a male and a female they will try to raise young over and over, and the female will keep laying eggs. There are also many kinds of zebra finches like white ones.
