I hope she returns safely. Zam has done that 'door dart' quite a lot lately, whenever Kim comes home after midnight from her parents. That seems the time of day she really wants to leave and go outside. Usually Kim said she'll just be somewhere around the building downstairs. But this time, I don't know.
Kim said she thought Zam was owned by someone around there before her, since she had absolutely no fear of people, unlike her kittens. Maybe her original owner found her again? I have no clue. I only know how sad Kim was when she called me this morning, and it's not pleasant to hear. Zam is a very sweet cat and I know it's tearing Kim up being at her job and not being able to go look some more around her complex for Zam.
It scared me when she said none of the food that was left outside was touched, since I've never known Zam to turn down a free meal, especially over the course of a whole night.![]()
