HEY!

I'm a resident of Pet of the Day, but have not really gotten deeply involved yet, outside of coments.

Are we allowed to do some all-out networking here??? I can't imagine a true cat lover who would not want this info in their pocket!

Myself, I was 16 years stable in one place with my 11 year old kitty until a couple of years ago, when I needed to move across the US. If I'd had these bits of info, I'd have had an easier time of it, especially an easier mind....

The airlines I checked said it was not legal to bring an animal into the cabin unless it was in a carrier that the animal could "stand up in" under the seat. YET the vertical space under the seat was less than the shoulder height of my cat.... So we drove from California to Pennsylvania. She'd never been outside her own yard since she was spayed at 6 months. We were both uneasy. But I must say that she was a lovely trooper for the time it took, although it got progressively harder to get her back into her cage in the mornings....

Can anyone lead me to "better" kitty-care sites?
