She was at the Emergency Vet Sunday morning for what they thought was a UTI and told me it would clear on its own, usually within 5 days. She has been fine the past few days. I was concerned about the lack of antibiotics so I called my own vet and got some in case it reoccured. Well, she has been eating, drink and otherwise acting normal until 3:00 this morning. In and out of the litter box, licking herself excessively, I tried to discourage it, but she continued. Then went and hid under the bed. Had to use a curtain rod to persuade her to come out. Put her in a separate room for observation. Hubby watched her drink quite a bit of water and then go in and out of the litter box frequently without much to do in it and heard her cry once. He patted her and tried to calm her, but when he got near her belly she growled and kicked him which isn't like her at all. So, off to the vets again this morning. I had to leave her which broke my heart, but we need to see what is going on. They will do urinalysis, maybe x-rays etc. I'm waiting to hear. Please say a prayer for her that it isn't anything serious. If anything like this ever happens again I don't care what any doctor says I want meds.
