Well, it was a long night and morning. Gidget hasn't been quite herself the past couple of days, she was eating and drinking normally, but just a little off. I was hoping it would pass and eventually I guess it will, but she was in and out of the litterboxes many times and doing nothing about 3:00 this morning, then excessive licking. She had a problem before, so, we didn't want to take a chance. Last time it required a kitty enema. We were off @ 3:30 this morning to the emergency vet. Thankfully it appears that it is nothing life threatening, but just a nasty old UTI. Needless to say, Hubby, Gidget and I are very tired and the other 3 kids are a little wary. Any time the carrier comes out of the closet is a cause for concern and everyone hides. Plus for us to leave at that hour of the morning and not return for a couple hours is odd, so everyone's schedule is out of wack today.

Anyway, hopefully she will be back to herself soon. She has shown a bit of improvement since returning home, so hopefully we can all get some sleep tonight.
