Yes i would.My RB dalmatian and Bear went on a 9 hr. plane ride to Germany,and they did well They've been on alot of plane rides so i have experience with this.
I would make sure Cagney is well enough to fly first.So i would ask the vet to make sure he is good to go.Just to be safe.His crate has to be big enough so he can turn around.Most of the time,people come on the plane to tell us that our pets are safely under.Dont be worried.Make sure he has comfy blankets and water!and no food.
