Is the pup going to be outside? I think it would be o.k. to let
him sleep outside the cage, but inside only & confined to a room.
Maybe the kitchen. That way he could play with a toy if he's bored, but he'd be around to check for problems.



p.s. Good luck with the cough. It's been two weeks & I'm just
starting to feel somewhat human again. That stuff's awful.
