Poor Gonzo and poor you! Thank goodness Gonzo wasn't ever MORE seriously injured, or worse. And once again it's the irresponsible behavior of the owner that led to a near tragedy! Hopefully the park commissioner, animal control, can get to the bottom of this to assure this doesn't happen again. And hopefully too, Gonzo will suffer no long term physical or emotional ramification from his trauma I'd hate to think of you guys fearful of attending the dog park in the future. I totally agree, he could've been hurt so much worse.. I'm really glad he wasnt! Especially since it took the owner forever tp get his dog off of Gonzo. I could tell the dog was trying to teach him a lesson, not kill him or hurt him badly. She must've not had much experience with other dogs though, because her bite inhibition is obviously waay off and I'm glad Gonzo didn't try to fight back, he could've been really badly injured.
