Many parents use other ways to motivate and discipline their kids than other parents. Everyone is different, so our methods will all be different. I also want to add, that someone who has never owned a giant breed, stubborn doggy, really can't understand the importance and usefulness of this collar....again, used appropriately, it can assist in positive results.
