Peeka did this a few years ago to one of my other cats, Pigeon. She stalked her and beat the snot out of her every chance she got and Pidge never fought back. Poor Pidge lived under my bed most of the time. Then, once I brought my little deaf cat, Creamsicle, in Peeka stopped it and hadn't done it since until just recently when she started picking on Yoda. She and Yoda always got along and I can't figure out why she's decided to pick on her now.
Anyhow, I'll take your advice and try giving them each more quality alone time. Right now I have a sinus infection, chills, fever, etc., so I curled up on the sofa w/a bunky and a bunch of furkids decided to join me, Peeka being one of them. But when Yoda walked into the room, I saw Peeka cock her head to one side and I knew she was ready. I didn't let it happen but I worry sometimes about what happens when I'm at work.
Blessings,
M
