Looking for a home for a cat Positive for FeLV

Does anyone have a cat with Feline Leukima or know somone who does who would be willing to save another kitties life? I have a wonderful kitten looking for a home but the kitten tested positive for FeLV. She will need to go to a home with other cats who are FeLV positive or go to a home with no other cats. If anyone knows anyone who would be willing to adopt this sweet girl, please let me know!

She is 6 month old, DSH, she is a tortie and is VERY sweet!

    Ash,
You've got a tough one there. GOOD LUCK!.
This cat should be isolated for 4 weeks and then re-tested. You should also ask the vet about a 2nd, more accurate test....drat, I can't remember the name, but a vet would know.
    Where is the cat now?

    Jen,

I was told the cat needs to be on meds for 6 weeks and then it needs to be re-tested. Technically, for all we know this kitten could test negative.

HOWEVER, her current owner (she found her as a stray and took her to the vet to get her shots) can not keep her as she has a male cat who is inside/outside (the FeLV cat is an outside cat only). She can't let her cat out because of the danger of giving him FeLV, but he is now peeing all over her house because he can't go outside (she is such an angel to deal with all this!) I have 2 foster cats and 2 cats of my own so I can not take her. We would love to give her a chance since she is such a sweetheart. We are hopeing to line up a home for her if she test positive for FeLV. Her current home is willing to keep her till she can be tested again. If she test positive though, she needs somewhere to go that day.
