Catland, I just reached 9000 posts. Well....100 and some posts back I reached it. I think it was over the weekend because I seem to remember seeing the thread Monday AM when I got in.

WE GOT SUNSHINE TODAY! (only 35 degrees from 63 yesterday, but no SNOW, ICE OR RAIN! so no complaints here.)

Is there any chili made? I'd love a bowl and large cherry rootbeer.
And of course, 4 catnip teas for the kids.

I'll take a glass of water( ) started a new diet today for the first 2 days nothing but protien shakes and water. But I need to lose 30 lbs to get diabeties under better control. I want to do it before I start work in April.

Yep, we were sitting here in the middle of the country minding our own business, when California decided to share. Then Canada decided to get in the act and shared their cold air. I guess we should feel honored that everyone shares with us. I hope the southern states share their warm air with us soon!

Doesn't help that I have to leave at 3:00 pm for a doctors appt. Nothing serious, just a check-up on my thyroid lump to make sure it's still shrinking.

Usually, when they say 1-3 inches of snow, we get double that, at least. When they say "flurries" we stock up for a month!

I saw a strange sight this morning. GEESE flying over! That's not strange, what is strange is they were flying NORTH. Not supposed to do that until SPRING! Maybe we are getting an entire winter in one month?

Who were those two blurs that just streaked through here??
