Until a few weeks ago, Bandit would sleep with my daughter and Jeffrey with me. For some unknown reason, they switched. Bandit now sleeps with me. Every morning around 4:30 I wake up and just lie in bed, sort of meditating (or cursing another day of work) before I get up at five. Bandit wakes up when I do and burrows UNDER the covers. He crawls under and rests his head on my stomach or in the crook of my arm. It's almost like he's saying "No, I don't want to get up! Don't turn on the light!" He sleeps on top of the covers until that time. I've never heard of a dog doing this. It's become our cuddle time, complete with all of his adorable sighs, grunts and snorts. I had to share this because I think it's so sweet. Jeffrey always wakes up giving big, wet kisses, (which I love) but this is such a more calming start to my day!

) hops up onto the bed and proceeds to worm her way under the covers. It's then that she lays her head on my chest or tummy or arm and falls asleep. She's like a heating pad. She's the warmest little bundle
