... and feeling very sorry for himself!
We went to pick him up at 12:30. I was so excited! Squid and Ollie wanted to come but I figured it was best to leave them at home. Toby went insane when they put his leash on. I was going to carry him out to the car, but there was no chance of even getting him to stand stillHe barked the whole way home, and then did a mad lap of the yard. So much for keeping him quiet
The pups were surprisingly quiet and gentle with him, I think they know he's still not 100% They both sniffed him, but Squid hasn't left his side the whole time he's been back! Toby's pretty much exhausted himself, he's asleep on the couch, and Squid's been there with him all afternoon
He's come back a little worse for wear though. Apart from the obvious scar on his belly (which I'll get pictures of later, I'm sure he won't appriciate being rolled over right now) he's been pulling his fur out on his elbow and legI can tell he doesn't feel so good because he's not holding his ears forward (his ears go back when he's upset or scared) but I'm sure it's nothing a long sleep and lots of cuddles can't cure.
He's going to hate being kept quiet though, he loves to run. And he's not allowed any treats. He's on a strict diet of chicken and rice, and he's not gonna be too impressed
