Gosh darn it - can someone hold this....this.....donkey still!
I've got to heave my ass up there and it looks a bit difficult.

Oh thanks Gini thats better. Why are you facing the horses rear end?

Really pretty views eh? Thought I was going to miss the trip - only just made it.

Glad I had a very long lemonade (with double vodka!!).

C'mon David hoist the butt - you can do this. There's a step here to make things a little easier. Great going eh?

It's OK Laurie - I have a stuffed parrot on my shoulder and do these huge hoop earrings suit me? NO - I didn't think so!! They keep slapping me in the mouth - ouch!

Hang on while I steer this steer away from Mario - that monkey has a gleam in his eye - I don't trust him one bit!!

Oh Lynne, I thought Richard said TURN AROUND, so I did!

I didn't know he meant the donkey was supposed to turn around.

Does anyone know the words to the song DON'T FENCE ME IN?

I'd kinda like to sing it......................

MARIO!!!! Leave the lasso alone ---- NO, NOT THE PARROT...........
OH MARIO.........now look what you have done.

Breakfast - Oh Lord, when is breakfast????

Don't worry Gini - it was a stuffed -parrot now it's stuffed and mangled - although Mario seems to like his new riding pardner!!
    Daft Mario!!

Way to go David - a couple of chorus's of 'Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum' and we'll have you buckling and swashing with the best of these scurvey knaves!!
    eek:

Funny how you get into this pirating lingo isn't it - and we're supposed to be cowboys!! Yeehaw!!

    Gini,

    Don't Fence Me In
    by Bing Crosby

Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above
    Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love
    Don't fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
    Don't fence me in

    Just turn me loose
Let me straddle my old saddle
    Underneath the western skies
    On my Cayuse
    Let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise

I want to ride to the ridge
    Where the west commences
    And gaze at the moon
    Till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hovels
    And I can't stand fences
    Don't fence me in

Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies
    Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love

    Ba boo ba ba boo

I want to ride to the ridge
    Where the west commences
    And gaze at the moon
    Till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hobbles
    And I can't stand fences

    No
Poppa, don't you fence me in

I think I'll stay back at the bar to have linament and STRONG driks ready when you all get back. I do not ride mules and I have a huge fear of drop offs.

Just hope that it's DIRT he's flinging!

I had to go put fresh batteries in my ruby slippers so now I can click my heels and go any where! We had thunderstorms this afternoon and our power was off for a while. Ever try to find batteries in the dark? Not fun!

I brought my guitar so we can have an around the fire sing along. Oh, and ghost stories too!

No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

Richard - what exactly is a **cayuse** as in the 4th verse?
    I've always wondered!

Great idea Connie - songs round the camp-fire - trouble is I can't carry a tune in a bucket - friends always tell me to SHUT UP - so I wont be offended when you all shout at me!!!

Well done Gini - now you and the horse are facing the right way you don't look like a 'push-me-pull-you'!!

    Push-me-pull-you
Arrrrr me wee wench... ya had me laughin' wit dat one. Mario reminds me of Ragtime Cowboy Joe with his silly little cowboy hat trying to lasso a parrot!

    How he sings,
Raggy music to his cattle (parrot?)
    As he swings
Back and forward in his saddle
    On his horse
    (A pretty good horse),
    Who is syncopated gaited,
And with such a funny meter
To the roar of his repeater.
