Excellent news!
We used to have a cat along the road who came and visited us when his family were on holiday. They always had a friend come in to feed him, but normally there was a family with two children and a dog in the house and I think he just got lonely. Latterly, he would break in through the cat flap during the night to sleep on our bed! Used to drive Samantha nuts.
