    Founder's first off leash run

I usually run Founder on my bike--I have a springer attachment (love that thing). I've never been really sure that Founder wouldn't vanish if he was allowed off-leash. But lately, I've been letting him run loose from the pen to the house and he's been good. A couple times he did a lap of the house, but he always came to the door. So today, I opened the gate and let him come for an off-leash run with Raven and Earle. (and Daisy who of course tagged along!)

He was GREAT!! He stayed close to us and had tons of fun!

    Running on the main trail.

Chasing squirrels. There's just got to be a way to get up that tree!!

And his first ever swim in the lake! Last time he was down that trail we could still run the dog sled across the ice! He loved swimming.

Founder should sleep well tonight anyway.

And now I will stop hogging the board!

Oh, Founder, you are gorgeous!! I love the pictures, your pups are beautiful. He sounds like such a good boy, I wish Alex could be let off, but he'd get going and be gone.
