    Meet Lucky (pics)

    My brother and his wife got a cockatiel. They are the ones who have the two parakeets, Petey and Chip. They've actually had Lucky for a couple of weeks now, but this is the first time I've seen him. He's 12 weeks old. They got him from a responsible bird breeder. They had been going to see him since he was even younger so he'd get used to them. They brought him over to our house today. Don't worry, the dogs were all in the basement. He's very friendly and tame! I held him for quite a while, what a cute bird! I didn't get any great pics, but I'll attach a few...

    p.s. I'm saying "he" because thats what they said, they're not sure if he's male or female yet..

    It's really hard to tell if white face cockatiels are male or female. Anyway, does it matter? "He's" precious either way. Lucky is such pretty bird.

    Of course they can! Popcorn and Muffin get the biggest smile on their faces when I whistle to them, give them a treat, or just when they're happy. They frown too btw........On cloudy days, they have the saddest faces.
