This was an interesting article that I found this morning. I always knew dogs and other pets make you feel good and "warm and fuzzy", but I never realized the depth and reasons.... Here is the link to it:

I know my dogs make me feel better (except when they wake me up early). I don't even turn on the television when I'm home all day--watching the dogs is plenty of entertainment for me!!!!
