  1. #121
Hrm, today's the 21st correct? Look at the last post from KAK and it says the 22nd. Hrmm, weird things are going on here. I just lost about 30 posts, and it keeps logging me out and I have to logg in again, and now with the wrong date..........anyone have any ideas?

    Another Update On Cirrus

Hi everyone. Well things haven't exactly gone as planned. When I went to check on Cirrus and feed him tonight, he had some how managed to get out of his e-collar. I called my vet at his home and he told me to drop him off tomorrow so he can remove his stitches. He was supposed to have them taken out on Wed. instead. They have to sedate him so he can't have any breakfast tomorrow morning.

I knew he was feeling much better but I didn't think he would be able to get out of his e-collar. I guess he wanted to be able to come home a day early. I'll either be bringing him home tomorrow afternoon or evening. I'll update you after he's home. I sure hope that he behaves himself at the vets and that everything goes well. I also hope that his brothers learn to accept him again. I'm so glad that he's going to be finally able to come home.

Great news!! Cirrus knew if he could get himself out of that thing that he might get to go home just a little earlier!!
I hope things go well at the vets. Good luck to you and Cirrus on his return home.
Cirrus you are very lucky to have such a wonderful meowmie!

I knew I should have checked this post sooner. I'm so glad to hear that everything went basically well for Cirrus. By being at your mom's house, I guess what they say is true, absence, does make the heart grow fonder. I hope and pray that all goes well at the vets and all goes well with the other 3, when you bring Cirrus back home.

Cirrus you clever boy- I am sure that you'll be fine. Itching stitches plus that collar -it simply was too much. Hope your brothers learn to love you again

Tracey, I sent you an e-mail with an attachment - I take it you've still got the same address.

Cirrus! You MUST stand still while the stitches are removed!!

Hope all went well! Please keep us updated.

    Cirrus Is Home!!!

Hi everyone. Everything went very well today. I was able to pick Cirrus up this afternoon. He's so happy to be home. Storm, Sunny, and Sky never hissed or growled at him either. Storm is very curious about him but Cirrus remembers the old Storm and is still very afraid of him. Sunny is acting like he's scared of Cirrus again. He did this when I first adopted Cirrus. Sky seems to like Cirrus and even sniffed his nose and gave him a little lick on his head.

Feeding time is going to be tough. Storm caught a wiff of Cirrus's new food and fell in love with it. I found out that the Nutro Natural Choice doesn't have anything in it to help urinary tract health. I still have a lot of Felidae and this has cranberry meal in it to help their urinary tract. I'm now feeding Storm, Sunny, and Sky 1/2 cup of Felidae with 1/4 cup of Nutro mixed in. I divide this amount into 2 smaller feedings per day and they really seem to like it. Now my fur family is complete.

BTW Cirrus is still my bathroom boy. While I was going to the bathroom, he came in for pets and started purring very loudly. This is the first time that I've heard him purr since he became sick. Now I know that he's very happy to be home.

I'm so pleased he is home. Finger crossed that the other cats accept him back. It sounds encouraging.

I'm so happy for Cirrus!! I know the little guy has been so confused. He has got to be so happy to be back with his family. Even if one of them is a mean brother!
I know you must be so relieved that this is over! You can do a big exhale and relax now!!
