    What a wonderful thread! I don't have a rottie, but they are definitely one of my favorite breeds. I love all the photos - they are all gorgeous dogs

    But, we seem to be missing someone. Where the heck is Angus???

    Yep, and his owner thnks he is a "great specimen of the breed" and should be bred" Normally , he (thewner) is really good about telling people you shouldn't just answer an ad in the paper, but find a good breeder and meet the parents, and all the right things, BUT, he thinks his dog fits that, and should be bred. I'm sorry, I love Cody, and he has a great temperment...but he does not fit the rottie standard. Sorry, just my little rant, and purely my opinion.

    I know rotties are usually over 100 pounds, but I never thought they were THAT much over 100 pounds, a guy on my road has one named Morgan and he is 110 LBs and that is big, so I cannot imagine a 157 LB one!
