Our Anniversary

Well, yesterday marked a year since we adopted our Pesto from the Humane Society. Her dad sang to her about how much we love her, and the 3 of us just spent the day together as a family. When I think back, it is unbelievable how much her addition to our home has changed me. She is my first cat, and she has brought so much light to our lives. I just wanted to post here how much I love my little girl, and let everyone know what a difference she has made for us!

pam_pesto, what a great way to celebrate your one year anniversary of Pesto's adoption! Quality time together is always the best, and pets really do make a difference in our lives! It's amazing how they can just come and sit on our lap and purr when we're feeling down or lonely, and it makes us feel better. Just looking at my babies' faces, puts a smile on mine and I always feel good knowing that we brought them into our homes and hearts

It has been a WONDERFUL year with our sweet little girl. Todd and I can be furious with each other, and then Pesto comes running in and gives a squaky little meow and the tension melts and all we can do is laugh. Before little Miss Pest, I couldn't be described as a "cat person" but now most of my friends think I'm fanatical! It's so great, and I am so hapy to have the chance to share my experiences with my baby with everyone here.

Hi there to the other Pam! It's funny how many of us have mentioned that we weren't cat people before that one special first kitty entered our lives. For me it happened 8 years ago when Trevor came to live with me as a tiny kitten. I can't imagine how I lived my whole life without having one of these beautiful creatures!! I was always blessed to have a dog in the house, but now I know twice the love! Congrats on your first year with Pesto.
