    My new digital has a special 'red eye' flash on it that puts off a couple of flashes to make your pupil get smaller which reduces the amount of red eye showing up in the picture Maybe your camera has something like that

    I have a special flash on the camera that's supposed to help get rid of it, but I didn't take those pics with that flash I haven't really expieremented with it yet
