    They took my stroller away!

(as told by Tinkerbelle, 7 year old female calico)
I have ALWAYS had a doll stroller in my room. I also have a carrier, boxes, and a cushioned foot stool. OK, I sound spoiled, with my own room and all, but i go there because i'm naughty a lot. Butjust resently, the people put a basket (with a cushion inside) in my room, and threw away my stroller.( ok, it was kind of nasty, but i still liked it) Now i don't know where to hide when the vacumm comes on, or when theres a thunder storm. what can i do?

Tinkerbelle, give that basket a try - they can be awfully comfy. When I moved in with my new mom when I was pregnant and homeless, she brought out something she called a Kitty Kup. Boy, was it nasty - it smelled like another cat who I never saw in the house (she said something about him being at the rainbow bridge?) and I was even a little afraid of it because it looked so strange. Well, once day it was real cold, and that thing was sitting by the lit fireplace, so I thought I'd give it a try since I couldn't find any laps at the time. Boy, was I surprised. It was so warm and comfy - and after while it only smelled like me. Now I hardly ever snooze anywhere else. It took me a long time, but I realized it was a friend, not a foe! Maybe you will do the same in time.

(As written by Trevor and Andy the cats),
Dear Tinkerbelle, Humans just don't understand! My people bought a special pet bed and expected us to be thrilled to death to take our naps there. We don't like to be pushed into anything and prefer to make our own decisions! When will they learn? Once in a while when we do go in it they get so happy. It's really pathetic sometimes how silly they act. I hope you can find another comfortable place because, as you know, napping is very important to us cats and we need lots of quality nap time every day! By the way, we HATE the vacuum cleaner too. Mostly we head to the basement when the "monster with the light" is roaring!

    Hi guys,

My name is Puddin'. I couldnt help but notice your posts about not liking the vaccum cleaner. I love the vacuum cleaner. I go right up to it and stare at it. It doesnt scare me. I love it when my humans run it over my stomach and down my back. Sometimes I try to catch it and bite it as it is going across the floor. My favorite things is for my humans to get the small attachments on it and rub me with it when I am laying on my side. I think it feels really good.

Puddin you are too brave for words!!! I think my person would like to run the attachment hose all over our bodies too so that our little hairs would not get all over the nice carpet, but she knows we are tiny hair factories and we can shed faster than she could vacuum. We like very much to be brushed and my human seems to enjoy those little sessions. We purr and rub up against her while she brushes us and she really eats that stuff up. Humans are so easy to please. You purr a little and they are putty in your paws
    Your friends, Trevor and Andy
