    sooooo mad >:(

well if you guys remeber I have a friend who has 2 dogs, one that is allowed in the house and well trained and groomed etc. and one that is kept outside, forgotten about, not so good condtion, not trained etc..? well now my friends dad has decided that they dont want sparky(the neglected one) anymore and wants to get rid of him they have had sparky since he was 2 years old, her is 10 now, they have had the other one since he was a puppy he is 3 now. I love sparky way more then the other one, sparky is a sweetheart and a absolutly adorable, BUT he IS 10 years old, and who is going to want an untrained 10 year old dog? I want him really really bad and it was always my dream that when I moved out to an acerage to take sparky with me, get him cleaned up, groomed, and looking nice, and trained properly, and neutered, but now they want to get rid of him and I cant take him because we already have a full house. I am so mad at them, and my friend and her sister dont seem to upset, heck they dont sound like they even care. I have always adored sparky and I cannot believe they would do this, I am so mad

attched is a pic of the little sparky he is an american eskimo

    That's horrible.

How could they let such a tiny dog, outside especially in Canada with cold weather and all?

Maybe you could help them find a good home for him, or a good shelter/rescue. I have a feeling it would be best for him, and the elder years of his life could be more enjoyable with a family that'll appreciate him.

If I was you, I wouldn't call such a family my 'friends'.

Could you help them find a no-kill shelter or rescue group?

Poor Sparky Why would they do that to him? He's ten years old too!
I really hope he gets a good home soon.
    Good luck!

I agree, a no-kill shelter would be nice for him.

    Poor baby

He needs a loving home and to live inside and cozy with someone who loves him.

On a side note, the fact he has been outdoors all that time actually isn't a bad thing as far as house training, since he is used to going outdoors. I know when I got my first collie when he was 9 months old, he had been outdoors full time, and he just never went in the house. He seemed to already be used to the fact that outside was where to go.

I hope and pray poor Sparky can get the home he needs.

How terrible! Poor Sparky, and such a sweet face. Good luck with your search. You're all Sparky has.

I agree, how horrible to do this to a 10 year old dog.

    1) Not many people are going to want
to adopt a 10 year old dog.

    2) A ten year old dog deserves to spend the remainder of
    his life comfortable and happy.

This is such a sad situation for sparky.
Cali, I wish you could keep him too.
