That was my worry as well. Because I am pretty new and a younger member, I feel that now *I* can't be trusted because of my age and my new status. I hope I am wrong.

He is so beautiful! I hope he's giving you some happiness amidst all the sadness. You can tell he knows he's a looker

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Veegan--please tell your friend to come back and share some more pictures with us--he is one gorgeous hunk of a dog, and I know I would love to see more of him!!!!!!!!!!

JiminyDobe--I'm sorry that this happened to you, and I can see why you are upset. Not everyone at Pet Talk is like this, in fact, most of us are honest people. Please stay, and share more pictures with us--he sure is gorgeous!!!

ZanZan and Chloe: I, for one, am ready to move on and have things back the way they were. I'd never think not to trust someone just because of their age/newbie status, and I try to take anything I see online with a grain of salt anyways.

It's sad that two things like this happened so close together, but this place has been so wonderful for so long that I don't think any permanent harm was done. A couple of people need to be banned or shunned, and hopefully anyone else who might try such a stupid stunt will be scared off.

BTW: Jiminy is a BREATHTAKING dog! Even my non-dog-person boyfriend thinks he is spectacular!!

    Thank you Wolf_Q!

I'm confused, so so so confused. I recognized the pictures as soon as I opened this thread. This is way too weird I am looking forward to an explanation.

Zan and Chloe - I do enjoy the newer AND the younger members who bring new ideas and opinions to the board. I would never judge the whole group of you based on a select few who choose to exhibit such awful behavior.

The nerve How naive can you be to think that no one would notice?? I'm sorry Kirsten that this had to be your first impression of Pet Talk. I hope you come back and share more photos and stories of YOUR Jiminy! I can't wait to see him again next weekend at Marymoor!

I agree completely, wolfchan. I have never and still dont really feel any reason not to trust the people on PT anymore than I would anyone else, ya know? These things happen I guess, and Ive calmed down now. (I was sure steaming last night when I found out).

I am a new comer I only sighed up because it was my dog that was being used. The way everyone has been so nice and understanding makes me want to stay and tell everyone about the real Jiminy.

-sigh- I remember this dog too because I was also in awe about how beautiful he is. I just saw this thread now and it's sick. I've always loved PT and such to get away from the lies of everyday life I put up with. My bests friends for example feel the need to make up things about their lifes to make themselves sound so great when its clearly a lie. This reminds me of that. Anyone sinking that low is just a sick person. I know I'd be peeved if someone took my pics so I can only imagen. Anyway, I really hope this won't stop you from posting more pictures of your beautiful dog. Perhaps even if they were on a site where no right clicking was allowed?

I am sick and tired of all these liars How could some one fake an adoption, take pictures from PT, and expect NO ONE to notice??? Hello, we aren't blind

Jiminy is an absolutly GORGEOUS dog, and I would love it so much if I could see more pictures of this ever so handsome man

I, too, also feel that because of my age that I may not be as trusted as some people. And I hope that no one feels this way about me I still love it here, but I wish all of this to go away

The best way is to prove you are trustworthy here is to never lie to folks here just to get attention - or for any other reason - and to think before you post. Spell things out, like "see you later" instead of "c u l8r" - it's that simple.

Another good pointer is never to post when you are angry. If a post makes you very mad, step away from the computer, go give somebody belly-rubs or nose-rubs/bumpies (depending on preference of the creature in question - NO ONE is allowed to touch Miss Hoppy's tummy!) or talk a critter for a walk, then come back and post when you are calm again.

This goes for anyone, regardless of age.
