ParNone, I agree with the others you sure can tell a story very well. I was sitting on the edge of my chair the whole way thru your story. I'm glad Oz is at the vets and doing well. I bet he won't want to mess with any more pills after having to go thru what he has at the vets!

I'm so gald your baby is ok.
I know what you must have been going through. My Boxer a few years ago got in the shed and ate a whole bag of fertilizer, scared me to death. Still to this day we don't know how he got in there, but we now have a lock on the door!! I've learned dog proff you home as if you had small children.

    I'm glad Oz is ok.
We had a some what similar thing happen to Max, except it was a double cake with inch thick iceing.
My dad was freaking out, I'm just glad he knew what to do, he made a potion of water & porixide(sp) & force fed it to Max, with my help.
Shortly after we had 3 massive rainbow fluffy piles in the backyard & 1 unhappy puppy.
Did I mention Max was only 6-7 months old!! I still wanna know how he ate it all. the cake was huge & he had less then 1 min to eat it all!!

Your a good story teller, I felt like I was right there in the room with you!
me too! I could feel your panic! I think it is how I would be reacting too... what to do first...?

what a terrifying experience for you!! I'm glad your dog is going to be ok! I was going to suggest that you keep the pills in a drawer, but since thats where you had them... these pets! they do the darndest things!
