Emily has never "expressed" any interest in the kitchen counters. So I am hoping that this influence "rubs off" on Tanner. So far it seems to be working, but I discovered yesterday that Tanner can now jump on the dining room table (which is a new trick).

I don't let Kylie on the counters or the table. One time she tried to jump on the counter right in front of me, but she landed on the gas stove!! I swooped her off! If she does get on the counter or the table she gets a quick spray from the water bottle!

The furkids ARE NOT allowed on the counters. They are only allowed on the tables if we aren't eating at the time.

Its pretty cool that they understand that second rule. Now, Micah on the other hand is still learning the counter one...

My cats are not allowed on the counters or tables, but they just don't know it. Tama's up there all the time. He loves to lick any dishes in the sink and he also loves to sleep on the stove so of course there's all these little tama furs all over the burners.
They always jump off though, when they hear us coming. It's hard to catch them in the act. All you hear is THUD! when they land on the floor
