my brother had his honeymoon here over 30 years ago, and I have always remembered what this place looks like( they took us to see it one time after they got back) and tonight I was just wondering if it had a website, and ..yep there it was! they used to have postcards of the rooms, don't know if they still do, but I just LOVE the way some of them are decorated... the pretty bedspreads and wall paper! and the way some of the bedroom walls slant at an angle!

Its a very interesting place. When I was younger, we went there for lunch and had to check out the neat bathrooms. Very cool, the men's "area" was a huge copper waterfall they would pee into! The woman's bathroom was very froufy.

They've expanded in the recent years, so its quite large.

I had to laugh, because it has been a standard for years that when traveling north from Los Angeles - we couldn't stop at a restroom until we got to the Madonna Inn. Sorry, you just had to "hold" it - because it was always worth the wait - the restrooms alone are something else!

I haven't been there in years, but it was always so well maintained.

That's funny you talking about the bathrooms, I just happened to watch a show (on TLC or Discovery) about bathrooms & they had the one with the waterfall on there! I didn't realize it was the same place
