Milo is a one year old male mix breed who has already had some obedience training. He sits quickly on command, heels well and shakes when asked. He retrieves beautifully, sitting dutifully next to you to hand you a fetched object. He loves children, and he also appears to be housebroken, as he keeps his kennel VERY clean, and "does his buiness" quckly outside on a leash. Not bad for a stray! He is a solid dog and is very attentive. He would be a fun friend for someone who would like to continue his training, or who just wants a loving companion to help them feel safe at night. Milo is neutered and up to date with his shots.

Sorry is a two year old hound mix who is very shy and sweet. She is quite playful with other dogs, and children. She also gets along well with cats. She would be a wonderful family companion for those of you interested in a big dog for the family who is laid back and not rowdy. Sorry is spayed, and up to date with her shots.



German Shepherd Dog,Plott Hound Mix

Sampson is large neutered male shepherd mix with a beautiful brindle coat. He appears to be about 18 months old. He arrived here severely injured having been shot in the shoulder. In addition to the many other cuts and scrapes, his right eye was also injured, and we thought it had been shot out. He was too frightened to move, and had to be carried into the shelter. We tranquilized him, cleaned him up, gave him some antibiotics and some extra doses of TLC. He is now the shelter favorite! He has that laid back hound personality, and that devoted shepherd heart. He loves kids, dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, you name it. This one is truly as sweet as they come!



Husky,Australian Shepherd Mix

Bam Bam is an affectionate, energetic young adult male Alaskan Husky Australian Shepherd mix. He is just about a year old, and will be neutered here as soon as he has an approved adoption. Bam Bam was brought in just before his first birthday after a divorce left him in the custody of an owner who did not want him. He gets along well with other dogs and does well with cats. Bam Bam needs some training, but he loves attention, and should be a willing student, and a beautiful, adoring companion for life once he is educated.
