    Hello Mushkin, it's a pleasure to meet you. What a BEAUTIFUL cat you are--stunning. I am so glad you have a wonderful home where you are no doubt loved and vice versa. I enjoyed all the terrific photos and your blue eyes are beyond lovely. I hope you have many more happy healthy years with your human. Congats on being COTD!

You are a busy kitty, too - going up to the top of your cat tree; playing with a ball or a plastic bottle cap! And being a purr-fect kitty model - I like the picture of you with your tail wrapped carefully around your paws! You have conversations with your person and stay close by when there is music to be heard! I smiled when I read that you like the camera strap, because my kitty always did too. You are beautiful! I would love to gently pet you - since I can't, maybe your person will give you some extra petting for me. Happy, happy Cat of the Day and Happy New Year to wonderful Mushkin!

    Petting Mushkin now!

    Thanks, cassiesmom! Mushkin eagerly obliges every time I want to pet her. And, she lets me know by rubbing my hand, walking on the keyboard, or bumping my forehead that she wants full, unterrupted attention (AKA petting) from me.

    Choice of bedding for Mushkin

    Thanks for noticing how well Mushkin's bedding matches her fur, tatsxxx11! One of the first things I purchased was a new coverlet with blue highlights to match her gorgeous eyes. Truth be told, she looks good in any photo, but bringing out those baby blues is so fun!
