Oh my, when I first heard your name I thought of the Doppler Effect and then I saw what a gorgeous boy you are. Wow!

A wonderful companion, a wonderful kitty, and he's a stray. Anyone that is thinking of buying a cat from a breeder while kitties like Doppler are wandering the streets or spending their last few days in a cage should look at this little fellow. Can you really find a better pet? Good luck, Doppler.

What's that sound I hear?

Faint now, it sounds... kind of like... little paws splashing, off in the distant tub.

Oh, now it changes: to the rapid, but still faint, clicking of kitty claws tapping up and down on the lineleum at the far end of the hallway - it is coming my way.

Ho! It grows louder! A rising crescendo, clicking-tapping, growing in volume, as it comes charging down the hallway... now, an extended "MeoOOO", decibels also rising, joins the clicking of the claws and SUDDENLY IT IS TREMENDOUSLY LOUD, AND I THINK MAYBE IT WILL SOON CAUSE THE WHOLE HOUSE TO EXPLODE!

But before this happens, maximum volumn is reached and suddenly falls off as a gray streak, tinted white, charges by me. "OOOOOOoooow." The clicking, tapping of kitty claws recede in volume as the streak shrinks down the opposite hallway.

I agree 110% with with Dan Holder. Stray's make the best pets and Doppler you sure have proven that fact haven't you sweetheart.

I agree that stray cats make great pets - after all, it was a stray that converted me from a cat hater into a bonafide feline devotee. Of the five cats that live under this roof, 3 came from the pound, one was born to a stray who stopped by here and the other was a birthday gift to a teen-aged son from a girlfriend.

But let no one forget that all cats are wonderful, magnificent, creatures - worthy of good homes and of love, care and friendship, whether they come from the streets or are bred. If everyone were to go for a stray and ignore the bred cats, then what would become of them?

Maybe they would become strays - if they were lucky!

However a cat comes to a home, if that cat is appreciated and loved, then it is a wonderful thing.

Our Popular Doppler, what an "effect" you have on all of us!!! I see your Doppler Radars are out, especially that little ear against the carpet that I'd love to kiss!! I just love your photo, and you look much like my gray and white (tux version) kitty, right down to that precious pink nose and mouth! I've got some bath water running now, so feel free to run over and jump in, and you can spalsh your big fluffy paws around as much as you'd like! You are soooo ADORABLE!!!!!
