To Mitra and hs human in Istanbul, Turkey. Congratulations Mitra on being our regal Dog Of The Day. Your beloved Mother must be mighty proud that you two (she was mother to both of you) are hanging together and supporting each other as you continue on life's journey. I believe she is probably providing strength to both of you on a daily basis. What a blessing that you have each other. I wish much happiness for both as you move forward.

! Your story is a wonderful one. You and your person have helped each other through losing a loved one in the best possible way. I agree with jspence - your mother most be extremely proud of both of you for taking care of one another. I would love to give you tons of scritchies and a huge hug! Hello to the person who submitted Mitra, I am so sorry that you lost your mother. I know that had to be difficult and still is but you are coping, you and Mitra together. Now to Mitra, What a handsome sweet looking dog you are. Also I think from reading that you are a kind and playful dog also. I enjoyed all the great photos and thank you for sharing Mitra and your story with us. I hope you two have many more years together. Congrats on being DOTD!

What a happy, smiley, gorgeous Golden guy you are, with a heart as "golden" as your shimmering coat! I've always felt Goldens to be one of God's most cherished earthly angels, and you Mitra are no doubt of his most beloved. You look so sweet with that lovely halo of flowers adoring your your head! See, you truly are an angel!

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your and your human's Mom. I know that her passing left a big hole in your hearts, that you are coping still. But thankfully you have one another to lean on, to turn to for healing, for comfort during those saddest of days. And as has been said, I too have no doubt that your Mom is looking down on you both from above, so proud of you both for the devotion you have shown for one another; sending you her love to comfort you, her strength to keep you going, each and every day! What a terrific team you and your person make, Mitra, best friends and soul mates for life!

I too am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your mum. It is wonderful that you and Mitra have one another however and he is a perfect DOTD! I hope you have a special day together, I loved seeing Mitras beautiful face today, he is simply the best! Peace and love
