That was a great start to my morning!! I just laugh at the redheads closed eye faces. They look so darn happy.
Thanks for sharing, and Colby is fitting in nicely.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Aw! Love the photos! So you've gotten a new kitty?! What a darling it is!! ^_^ Haven't been online on pettalk much, so, didn't know you got a new furry baby! Well good to hear it's settling well! ((Looks like all the kitties were really tired! Nearly all of them were resting in the photos! ))

I'm melting from all the sweetness of your kitty family!!! Wish mine got along that well. Love the pic of Alani and Blaze in their synchronized snoozing. The one of ziggy looks like she's floating in air.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

How can we be bored with beautiful pictures from The House of Orange? All of your furkids are exceptionally lovely. You have a good eye for beauty. Just when I think Pearl if the prettiest, I see a picture of Sky. Then when I've decided on Sky, I see photos of the redheads. And so on and so on.... Just a good looking bunch! Colby is carrying on that tradition very well, indeed.
Proud to be a crazy cat lady!

I love how Colby just blends right in to his surroundings, he looks like he belongs there.

Yes it is and it may continue to get oranger. I say this because I told the Colby's foster mom that if she ever comes across an orange Aby mix like my Sunny to please let me know so you never know when this might happen. Colby is actully considered to be a buff colored tabby so he's much lighter than the regular orangies. Storm became matted in Oct. because he decided to stop grooming himself so I'm trying to keep his coat shorter now. Sky also became matted so that's the reason why he also has a new haircut. I wanted their fur cut as short as possible so this cut is called a kennel cut.

Ziggy looks vet, has been out in the rain, or did you give him a bath?

Kisses to them all from us.
Since Candace already gave you the link titled "Opps I Did It Again" I won't repost it here. I got him from a lady that I know from the FOSMAS cat rescue group. This is the same rescue group where I adopted my RB Starr. She wasn't doing an adoption event last Sat. so she came over to deliver him to my home herself last Sat. evening. Ziggy isn't wet but her black fur does have a nice shine to it. If I ever tried to bathe her, I'd lose both of my arms.

Thanks again everyone for all of the nice comments. I also love how Colby's fur goes with my color scheme. I've always loved the lighter softer colors so maybe this is another reason why I love the lighter colored cats too. It's hard to believe that it's only been 1 week that Colby has been with me. Both girls still hiss at him but they also still hiss at Alani & Blze too. That's females for you. Colby and Alani did have a little fight today but nothing major and I think that it kind of stunned Alani and me. Colby jumped up next to Alani and I thought that he wanted to play with him. The next thing that I knew, they were both boxing each other. Hopefully this won't continue. So the cats are still trying to work things out but all in all I'm glad that they're going as smoothly as they are.

Thanks so much Elyse. I think he may have some siamese in him. His foster mom seems to recall that his mother may have been lynx point siamese mix and she was a feral cat. When he meows it's a deep meezer type of meow.

I just found out some more information about Colby's,aka Cricket, litter this morning and I thought I'd share it with you:

Yep, this litter was not only beautiful, but quite varied in appearance, too. The feral momcat was a dilute tortoiseshell DSH, and her babies are:

    1. Nadya - dilute tortoiseshell DSH female (adopted with sister Kira)
    2. Duncan - Russian Blue DSH male with a white locket (adopted with brother Sammy)
    3. Georgy - Russian Blue DSH male (adopted singly)
    4. Cricket - buff tabby DSH (adopted singly, but with other housemates)
    5. Sammy - orange tabby DSH male (adopted with brother Duncan)
    6. Tanner - buff tabby DMH male (adopted singly, but with other housemates)
    7. Kira - dilute calico DSH female (adopted with sister Nadya)

I also received pictures of his brothers Duncan and Sammy which I'll attach to this post.Click image for larger version.
