    Merlin, you're definitely magical!

    Congratulations on being our POTD, Merlin. Even though I've never been owned by a bird, I always admire the beautiful colors and amazing bird personalities we meet here.

    I'm so glad your family is working hard to give you a healthy and active life. Since you and your other bird cousins can live such long lives, I always hope for many years of love for you and your family!

    Hello Merlin! I guess you know you are absolutely beautiful and your colors are outstanding. It sounds as if you are one smart bird. It amazes me that birds can talk. I think you have a good home and good people around you. I'm so glad you are out of your cage for long periods of time. I hope you and your family have many more years together.     Greetings magical Merlin! A very happy Pet of the Day to you! What a magnificent, simply stunning creature you are, and quite the character! I can only imagine the look of surprise on your Mom's face when she unwrapped you that Christmas Day! It may have taken a bit of time and research before your Mom was up to speed regarding parrot guardianship, but it's clear she sure did do her homework! An Amazon couldn't hope for a more loving and devoted forever family than yous,r Merlin, and oh, what a happy life is yours! How neat that you get to fly freely through the house most of the day, and I'm sure the occasional "dropped" plate is quickly forgiven! As your wise Mom says, parrots and big birds are not for everyone, but you and your family certainly make for one heavenly match! How lucky they are to have a beautiful, smart, joyful best feathered friend in you, Merlin!
