Well... Rick Fox just got eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" (which I wasn't expecting because his partner Cheryl Burke is a previous winner) and the election results aren't looking the way I was hoping they might. ... sigh

I heard on the news this morning that this election had one of the largest numbers of very close races. I am happy about some of the results, not happy about others, but that's part of the process.

    Dear Politicians,

You can come and get your signs back now that the election is over.

Thanks, Eileen. I plan to use it next time around.

Now - we are three days past election and there are still 2 Gubernartorial and 1 Senate seat still undecided - as well as 9 seats in the House.

Alaska has to count all those write-ins for the Senate. I read somewhere it might be Thanksgiving before that is completed. The states of Connecticut and Minnesota still don't know who their new
Governors will be. And I don't know the 9 House seats still in limbo.

    Hear, hear!

At least it doesn't look like it'll take months like picking the President in 2000! That's when the "Revocation of Independence" started floating around the internet.
