Thought I might show you the result of what Fister was helping with.

    ..... and from another angle:

Some of you may recognize these: Thanks a lot!

I like your candle Randi! That is a really neat idea! We used to have those when we were younger...a count down until we turned 18.

And yes, it was neat to recognize all those cards on your table!

Thanks for the compliment, Lut! It's easy, you just get a real Christmas tree and let Maya and Inka help tearing it apart. No, you can buy the fir (spruce?) in bunches and you get a tree stump or something and some clay to put on it. Then you find all your Christmas things from last year and put it on all the way around in betweeen the spruce - leave space in the middle for a candle! I'm sure you can make a beautiful one!

Kelly, I usually get a nicer candle, but couldn't find one this year!

Lovely idea Randi - reckon I might 'pinch' it!! Looks so good.
Don and I were just discussing the pros and cons of putting a tree up - with these three and their mountaineering capabilities we reckon we might not bother this year!! Last year was bad enough - and putting the tree together every morning is soooooo boring!! May be I'll just festoon ornaments around the house out of cat reach!
Your sideboard looked lovely with all the Pet Talk cards.

The pics of Fister are great and the end result sure is beautiful. I also love your Christmas card display. I was even able to recognize the card that I sent you.
