There was a comedian here in the radio who said: "The Spanish did not even give them the ball. How could they prove that they are better if they didn't get the ball. That was just not fair from the Spanish."

So, the World Cup is over for my team, they're No. 3, like in 2006... But while everyone seemed to be happy about it four years ago, it seems like this time, the team and their fans are still somewhat disappointed. It was awesome today how they turned the match around - why couldn't they do that in the semi final?

Candace, that was funny! But of course the defeat in the semi final cannot be blamed on the referees, even though some of them made some very questionable decisions in this World Cup.

And congrats to Spain for winning the World Cup. Losing in the semi final to the future champion is not so bad after all, isn't it? (Been the same for Germany in 2006 already).
