The first picture is me & my beautiful mom riding in the back seat of the car on the way to Michigan (hubby was chauffeuring)

The second one is one that Amy (Cincy's mom) took while we were on a track walk at Charlotte. My mom is talking to Joey Logano (the youngest Sprint Cup driver) and asking him to sign her shirt. I just that she enjoys going to races with us

The third picture-last year while my mom was up she decided after years of wanting a eyebrow piercing she'd finally get one! Yep, my 62 year old mom got a piercing! She's awesome

    I LOVE MY MOM!

I'm Late to the party but oh well.

These are all from Christmas of 2007.

The first 2 are family shots. Mom is center in both.

Third one is all the ladies that had a hand in raising me. (Mom, G-ma, Aunt Carol with my aunts Mary and Erma trying to hide in the back)

The last one is Mom being Mom. I have no idea where I get my sense of humor from.

This is from our trip to Ten Chimneys (summer home of Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin), September '09. She's 77 and this picture was taken a couple of days after my 43rd birthday.

This is a very old picture of my mum taken when she came to visit me in Malaysia in 1971. She loved to travel as do I! Sadly she died in 1981 and I still miss her every day!

Then we probably played cricket with you .. our RAF/RMAF team used to travel from Kinrara near KL to play against Butterworth. Always a really fun trip We used to enjoy the fish and chips from the Sydney cafe out on a small jetty in the sea at Batu Ferringhi too!

What lovely pictures... and stories.. So much LOVE here!

I don't have any pictures of my mother (who died 11 years ago on her 78th birthday) to post.. Maybe I can find some film pictures to have digital copies made.

One of the nicest memories of my mother is how much she loved the music from Broadway shows. She had records of all her favorites that she played during the days as she did her housework. As my siblings and I were growing up, we were accompanied by songs from "My Fair Lady," "Oklahoma!," "South Pacific," ... many others I'm not thinking of right now. Ever since, whenever I hear one of these familiar melodies, I smile and remember Mom.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Nope, never played cricket there at all. I think the RAAF guys did, but us army guys were always too busy.
