My cat "chatter" whenever they run around the apartment, or when they see a bird or squirrel in the tree. It's a riot to watch and listen to them.

I know...don't you love it! It is almost like having little ones in the house again.

You know, Helen, now that I think about it. We used to have a tree that Cassie could see from the bedroom window. It had box elder bugs and so was cut down, and the replacement tree is quite small yet. She would sit in the bedroom window, watch the birds in the tree and click her teeth at them and make sort of a chirping noise. It would be just barely light out and she'd be fussing at me to open the blinds and the window so she could see and hear the birds. I'm so sorry we lost that tree because it was good shade and good cat entertainment!
