I have found that he REALLY likes the Beech Nut, stage 1 baby food that is just meat & broth... Chicken & Chicken Broth is his favorite! He's eating a jar a day of it.

I know he isn't going to fully recover and be "well" again, but he's comfy and seems happy and that's all I can hope for.

And he is eating more! I guess you still don't know what he is recovering from - I don't recall if there was an actual illness - but with his feeling comfy and happy and eating, he may trudge along for a while yet.

Your love makes every bit of difference, I am sure of that!

I'm glad that you found something that he loves to eat. My Storm also seemed to like the Gerber Graduates Turkey sticks which look like mini hotdogs. I'd cut them and then mash them up for him. I hope he'll continue to do well and be with you for quite a while yet. More prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way.

He's not so fond of the dry food these days. I did find him eating a couple pieces of the dry dog food today.

Praying that he makes it awhile longer and doesn't seem unhappy or hurting... he is so sweet and we snuggle so much. I just love him more than anything.

He's still a lovebug. He doesn't jump or climb anymore, so I had to improvise a new litterbox that is very low to the ground for him. (hah, we won't use THAT cake pan again!) I have been mixing some water in with his canned food and mushing it good so I can get him to eat it more.

Right now he is munching on some dry food, actually! I wish I could help him get stronger... all I can do is pray and hope he can regain strength by eating more.

I will return to work next week (Monday 1/25) and am scared to leave him alone for the 11-12 hrs a day we're going to be gone. I am so grateful I've had 4 months at home with him though. (even if it was b/c of my own health issues, which aren't better but I must return to work or we're going to be in very bad shape)
