The good news is it really helped my cats be less agressive when Winston came home from surgery and it made Winston less anxious too....I wish I could remember what it's called....maybe someone else will know what I'm talking about.
I thought it might make Grandma and Chester more accepting of Angel (although that seems to be happening anyway) and might help Winnie adjust to the others after her vet stay.....good luck to all!
The spray is called Feliway, and it is indeed rather expensive at pet stores. However, you can find it through many online vendors at much better prices. I have gotten it from carealotpets.com, but that was a little while ago, so I suggest you do a Google search on Feliway and see what kinds of prices you can find. There is also a Feliway diffusion set, a plug-in with a (replaceable) bottle of Feliway liquid that slowly diffuses throughout the immediate environment.

I don't know when you bought that bottle of Feliway - but the patent expired on it late last year - and the price is about half of what it was.

Hopefully, Winnie will lose her hormone edge some time after her spay, and maybe won't need other help. Fingers crossed here.

Angel sure is growing up but she's as cute as ever. I hope that Winnie's spay goes smoothly and that she'll become much calmer after this. Good luck.

Oooh, thank you, Candace! I didn't know that. I haven't gotten any in quite a while.

I have been depressed today. These animals trust me so much, what if I let them down? I know that in just two days all our lives will change forever. I sure hope they all change for the better.

It is only natural to feel a little nervous right about now, but please
don't feel you could ever let Winnie or Angel down. You care too much
about what happens to them. They will be fine & so will Grandma and
    Chester.

    We are making progress!

Thanks everyone. I couldn't do this without your support!!!

Angel has been playing like a crazy cat in here this morning. Chester has hissed and growled a bit but not offered to hurt her. I even left them alone for just a second when I had to run and get something from the other room. Not a problem. I don't think he knows she's a cat. She's the first baby he's ever seen.

She played until she finally fell asleep. I tucked her inside her carrier and she's all stretched out snoozing her little head off.

One thing, I need to do something about my computer's cords. When I got my first computer all my cats were grown and not interested in cords. I need to see about finding something to put over them.

Anyway, I got a few pics today.

    Chester checks Angel out

No! I'm not sleepy! I'm not falling asleep in spite of my eyes starting to close!

    See! Wide awake!!!

There's no way you could possibly let any of these kitties down! You do so much for Angel, Winnie, Grandma and Chester with your primary concern always being what's best for each one. Because of your love and care, little Angel is thriving at 7 weeks old, Winnie is getting the veterinary care she needs, and Grandma & Chester are starting to accept their new little playmate.

You're doing...and have been doing...all the right things right from the start! There's no question that you're a true PT hero!!! Bless you for all the wonderful things you continue to do for these lucky kitties. Where would they be without you?

Prayers are already being prayed for Winnie to do very well with the vet.

Angel, you just keep getting cuter by the minute! Sending you lots of chin scritchies. Also sending lots of lovies to Grandma, Chester, and Winnie!

Moff, I know I haven't been on PT lately, but I have been lurking and following your story. Bless you and thank you for taking on Mama and her precious Angel.
Winnie is so beautiful and Angel just has me in a puddle of mush. Just seeing her pictures has put a much needed smile on my face.
Keep up the good work and I know that Winnie will come through her spaying like a trooper.

You are truely their "Guardian Angel."

Now there's a really good idea. Not only to sit on the floor first (thereby avoiding falling off the chair due to CUTENESS) but to put a pillow there!

Try the hardware store or the Home Depot (Lowe's, Menards) for cord covers. My next door neighbor used a piece of PVC piping to corral his cords when his puppy first came home. He also put bright blue painter's tape on the end of his mini blind cords and looped them up over the curtain rods so puppy couldn't get them. The blue painter's tape was just so he could quickly find the cord when he wanted to adjust the blinds.

Winnie was an absolute angel this morning! I opened the shed door just wide enough to reach in and grab her. Then picked her up for a cuddle and into the carrier she went. I had put the towel from Angel's carrier in with Winnie so she would have the scent of her with her. She didn't care much for the bus ride but other than that she did fine. They will call tomorrow after her surgery to let me know she's ok. then she can come home Wednesday after 9 am.

Angel was the stinker who was hard to catch in the shed this morning. But I prevailed and she is now established in the bathroom. I have pics if anyone wants to see them.

Oh, I found a cord cover at Walmart this morning. Thanks for reminding me about the cords on the blinds, Cassiesmom! I'll tie or tape them up!!!
Thank you all again for all the luvies and prayers for us all.

Angel in her new, um, bed. That brown thing is a teddy that one of the cats' aunts sent them. It is much loved.

Yes, there's an Angel in my house!

Best wishes for Winnie during her surgery. And welcome indoors, baby Angel! I'm sure you'll win over your elders in no time.

I'm sending good thoughts Winnie's way. She is so beautiful and such a good mother! How could anything go wrong with her? They both are being watched over by Someone who wants only the best for them. Didn't they find you? Nothing happens by accident. Sending loves and hugs to Winnie and Angel.

I have the feeling I was set up for this from the very start. Angel was even conceived on my back porch!!! In spite of my efforts to chase winnie and her orangie boyfriend off, they kept coming back to my porch.

Since then, things have happened too fast and too well for those two. Like someone was guiding them to get them here. I will always think Leonardo and Luke are behind this somehow.
