    I have an interview...

I called the Humane Society this morning to follow up with the director and make sure my resume and cover letter were received. She said it was, and if I was selected for an interview, I would be called.

Not 15 minutes later, I had a message from the HS asking me to call to set up a time for an interview! I have it at 10:30 next Wednesday.

    Wish me luck, k?

It would be PT but have some benefits - and allow me to do a bit of pooter work without relying on it for a living!

Prayers and good wishes that they will realize just how perfect you are for this job! And another candle, of course: http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/...ng&cid=9265427

I asked to move the interview time, even day, as I am driving my mom to a Dr's appt at 11:30 the day after her cataract surgery...that checkup is Wednesday.

It's in downtown Calgary, which is 1/2 hr, and it's 1/2 hr from the interview place to her place.

The latest appt they had on Wed was 11:30, so I was put through to the manager's voice mail. I hope this doesn't make me look bad.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts!

I just left the manager another polite message "to touch base", and did apologize for any inconvenience. I said I was excited about getting the interview, and didn't check my schedule. (I knew I was driving Mom that day, but thought it might be an early appt).

Cochrane people are pretty good...if you take time to help your Mom, that is seen as a plus most times!
